About Ethan
Mixer. Technician. Arranger. Producer.

Ethan Ackland is a multifaceted mixer and technician that specializes in theatrical productions and live events. He has worked on shows across the U.S. and has been recognized for the clarity and depth of his mixes in addition to his ability to sonically transform unconventional spaces such as circus big tops, cathedrals, and in-the-round venues. Ethan's recent credits include "Little Shop of Horrors" with Matt Logan Productions, "Beauty and the Beast" with Northern Stage, and "Murder for Two" with STAGES St. Louis. He has also provided sound for Central Square Theater, The San Diego Ballet, The Royal Opera of Madrid as well as jazz greats such as Kurt Elling, Kathleen Bertrand, and Joe Lovano.

Outside of his theatrical work, Ethan is also an active orchestrator and pianist. He graduated from Berklee College of Music with a B.M. in Contemporary Writing and Production and continues to write and produce his own projects. His clientele have included The Company Theatre in Norwell, Ensemble Adriatico, Circus Sarasota, and Western University in London, ON. He has recorded on several singles for Kyle Towey and has performed on various stages on both the east and west coasts.
